| Slashasterisk and AreCee, in a joint coast to
coast collaboration, have been working to make Slash’s videos
available for download. Slash captures our favorites from the
New York area, and AreCee, the web guy, is located near Seattle.
Definitely coast to coast!!! Along with being available for download, some videos can be previewed on youtube and other online sites. The advantage of downloading is a higher quality video, and you have the ability to make your own caps. Originally this started out as a site to download Christina Park videos, but we had a LOT more traffic than expected. Turns out Christina has fans all over the world. Solution was a new host with additional bandwidth. Good for us AND good for you... cuz now we have room to host other reporters Slash captures. Slash is experimenting with different video
formats, in an attempt to find the balance between quality and
